I mean what the Harley did : They asked for fans opinions and designed new models on the basis of those opinions. But the Honda American team wasn't lazy about VTX 1.3 and 1.8 models.

The Honda fans also could find a diverse selection and not just on the basis of factory design. They could choose between different shaped and colored accessories. They could decide about the details like for example: cast or spoke wheel, black or silver colored engine block, short sport fender or rounded cruiser fender. They could ask the factory for different versions and colors of VTX bikes... and here in Europe the buyers were happy when they found a simple C model.

I noticed there's the same situation about other kinds of bike too ; here in Europe we could buy simple bikes with simple colors, natural aluminum chassis and frame accessories. The buyers could buy the same models with chromed fork, matt black engine block and so many kinds of variation of choppers and cruisers in the market of overseas.

I really don't know why it is, maybe the European buyers don't need it or have modest needs. In any case i'm not too happy about it. Who don't like simple bikes gotta do some modifications on it. This is what we've done as well. Outcome was good and came off well !
