Rear crashbar is a very useful accessory on VT Shadow cruiser.

Fortunately there wasn't any injuries. That 1100 Shadow tourer had a rear crashbar and it can protect the passenger and the bike as well.

I always remembered that situation coz my 1.1 C3 ain't got no any rear crashbar. I guess it would be useful. Once my wife wanted to try my big green Shadow and i allowed it...gas, clutch and she set off. The problem was the following : she wanted to stop and use the side stand but the bike was high heavy for her and she wasn't able to keep it. She screamed and put it down on the floor. I wasn't glad to see that coz there was painted a beautiful picture on side box. My 300 kilos bike was lying on its side and i picked it up. Afterwards i had to repair the painting.

Fortunately that box wasn't broken and i was able to repair the painting easily. I decided i'm gonna build a roll bar because of this situation and it's gonna protect us and the bike as well. We started to work on a gas pipe with a plumber but didn't finish it. We put it off and left it in the basement.
That was 6 years ago and i guess it's time to finish that accessory what can protect my bike. Nowadays i started to work on an own designed rear crashbar with Cruiser 2002 Ltd.

That ain't a piece of cake and that's why i didn't finish it a couple of years ago. Connecting the box holder to the new roll bar and fixing them. We were working on it for 2 days but it's not done yet. I hope it'll be come off !

Greetings.
