When I've watched old american films have seen police bikes and those were classic cruisers.

I liked them very much when heard the sound of old siren which was driven by a shaft from the running gear. The shaft operated a paddle-like stuff which compresses the air and that's why we can hear the sound of siren. The problem is my 1.1 Shadow ain't got no any shaft what drives or operates a siren like that and that's why I had to get an old one which was driven by an electric motor.

Looking for any siren that ain't easy. I've already written about those veteran markets where I can buy anything. The veteran market is a regular gold-mine for bikers. I found an old man who had so many kinds of vintage stuff. He had 2 old sirens, the first was an old Italian ambulance siren and the second was an old Romanian military ambulance siren. ( next time I'm gonna write more about the last one ). That is a small shabby 12V. construction and when we tried out the siren everybody looked at us coz that was very loud and noisy. I bought both. That siren needs a high current and that's why I used the battery of my bike and dual-cable. Just in case I used a swing fuse and it's in the switch what I put near the tank. The siren is mounted on the roll bars below the chromed horn.

The siren is so heavy and I won't use it all the time. It's mounted by 2 screws and easily removed.

If I feel like scaring the people I mount it again but if you don't want conflict with the police then don't follow my example coz it is illegal to do it ! only police officers can use it.
