The bad quality of roads, braking, revving up the engine can make spoked wheels worn out easily. The wheel hub made from aluminum which is not too hard not like the material of steel spokes. If the spokes loosened those would make damages on bores of aluminum wheel hub.

The loose spokes make the bores worn out and those will be wider because of vibration. It’s just a question of time and the spokes might be popping out of bores. The solution to this problem might be the following; From time to time we need to check out the wheels or we can ask the mechanic for checking them out and if it’s necessary he can tighten or change the spokes.

If we spend some money for this then we can keep spoked wheels for a longer time and don’t have to buy a new wheel hub when it’s too late. We always check out spoked wheels during the bike building and we give those owners who have spoked wheels this good advice!
